Meet Our Fitness Professionals

Danny McLarty, CSCS, PPS
Danny received his B.S. in K-12 physical education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Danny played NCAA basketball at the University and was recently inducted to the Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame in April of 2007.  Danny's credentials include being a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and a Planned Periodization Specialist through Tudor Bompa, an internationally renowned strength coach.  One of Danny's specialties includes over a decade of one-on-one and group basketball coaching.  The lessons are intended for boys and girls to help develop their ball-handling skills and to improve their ability to get open, with and without the ball.

As an accomplished athlete and now a trainer, Danny feels that "there is no 'magic trick' to improving your body; train, eat, sleep, and repeat. Those that are consistent, disciplined, and give everything they have, can bring their health, physique, and performance to a new level."
